Honestly, a few more chapters of pain would've been better, maybe even an epilogue? Autumn doesn't go to college that year. I was like a mother longing for her child. Finny confronts her why she left him so suddenly and she apologises, says she was stupid and selfish. I loved him and Autumn together from the beginning. One of the biggest themes in the book is that we often perceive things how we want to perceive them. Now, with that being said, I did feel like something was going to happen between Saha and Jamie. If He Had Been With Me was such a slow read, and I found the premise to be misleading, considering Finn isn't featured nearly enough in this book.

I liked that the chapters were short. Anyway, I can promise you that this book will stay with you for the rest of your life. But of course he never does. I wish it didn't happen the way it did, but I suppose that is the part that makes it intriguing. She wishes to become a writer, but Jamie feels it can't be her full-time career. If you're wondering, I didn't cry.
