Now Jeff who has an impressive set of Moton's pointed me towards the ATS they're are waaaay too much for my liking, but he also pointed me towards a set of Yellow Speed Racing coilovers which instantly peaked my because they're also because you can get their Club Performance coilovers with external reservoirs which allows for a two way adjustment for less than the Tein MonoSports: They even do a Pro version for a extra couple of hundred no idea what the difference is. Overall impressions are that they are very stiff at low speeds, you really have to push the car on gravel/ dirt to get the car to settle. I don't think you can knock BC Racing's quality for their Tawain-manufactured components (although VW may have tarnished the whole "German quality" thing a tad).... if the coilovers are manufactured in China though, all quality-control assurances must be "taken with a truckload of salt". Thanks, currently my daily driver & the plan is a few road trips. Anybody have any experience with the yellowspeed? Taiwan quality is bloody good, lightyears ahead of "Chinese quality"). Yellow Speed even says they need to be cleaned and re greased regularly. With the lower bracket, it allows maximum suspension travel without affecting the shock stroke.

Why a coilover, why not a proper strut and spring? The lower mounts are manufactured from lightweight alloy aluminium to reduce unsprung weight. They feel as stiff as my BC racing coilovers with 6k/5k springs. Seemed to work pretty well- the FM rear bar is pretty stiff vs their front so my car pretty much defaulted to oversteer with it installed, default understeer with FM front and Mazda rear. High-quality components are adopted to ensure product durability and stability. Preload was kept factory setting along with the front camber setting. Spring rates and shock valving are made for Competition to make the vehicle more controlled and balanced. Only some models included that bracket. I'd also avoid anything marketed as "Dynamic Pro Sport". What're you driving?
